Salvete omnes! I am so happy to be a part of the Tiger family and am looking forward to a spectacular year!  I graduated with Honors and Special Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009, earning a degree in Ancient History and Classical Civilization.  My undergraduate education focused on Roman and Greek History, Mythology and Latin.  I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa and completed a senior honors thesis entitled Isis in the Roman World: Unveiling the Cult.  More recently, I earned my teaching certificate through the UTeach Liberal Arts Post Baccalaureate Program at UT in 2011.  Outside of school, I enjoy playing soccer (I played on the UT Women's Club Soccer Team in college), traveling, and fashion.  I lived in Rome, Italy for three months during the summer of 2011 and love to share my adventures and treasures with my students.  I encourage everyone to explore the world and visit the places we learn about in class if they have the opportunity.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
